Management team
Justin Walters, Chief Executive
Justin has been Chief Executive of Investis since its inception. He has extensive experience of Internet communications and technology, having been Managing Director of the Guardian's hugely successful Internet business, Guardian Unlimited. He has also worked as a specialist strategy consultant in diverse industries across Europe, the US, Australia and Canada. As well as his business activities he pursues an occasional academic career as a fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Justin holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Helen James, Managing Director
Helen is a founding director of Investis, with responsibility for client relationships and new business. Before Investis, Helen was Head of Pan-European Equity Sales at Paribas where she managed the sales team as well as developing their expansion into continental Europe. Before Paribas, she headed up European equity sales for HSBC James Capel in New York. She started her career as an equity analyst at James Capel. Helen has extensive experience of investor relations and corporate communications issues.
Rene Milner, Managing Director, Finance
Rene is a commercially minded CFO with significant private equity and hands-on operational experience with multinational companies. Prior to Investis, Rene spent four years as CFO of AIM Technology a Business Intelligence Software Company and four years as a Principal at Lynx Capital Ventures LP a UK based Venture Capital fund. Before Lynx, Rene was the CFO at Virgin Digital Studios, a multinational postproduction group acquired by Liberty Livewire in May 2000 and Business Planning Manager at Hertz Europe.
Al Loehnis, Business Development Director
Al is a founding director of Investis, with responsibility for business development, including marketing and our partnership programme. Prior to this, Al worked as an analyst in the City, most recently at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a Vice-President in Equity Research. He has extensive experience of investor relations and corporate communications issues and sits on the board of the Investor Relations Society.
Rupert Spiegelberg, Strategy Director
Rupert is responsible for the development of Investis’ strategy. Prior to joining Investis, Rupert worked for Thomson Financial and as a financial journalist for Bloomberg News in London, Paris and Frankfurt. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Alex Booth, Operations Director
Alex heads up the operational side of the business, with responsibility for client services, IT, product development and our website development and service teams. Having been involved with the company from its earliest days and been a key contributor to many of its achievements Alex has built a strong and successful career at Investis. He is a keen linguist with exposure to six European languages and holds a First Class degree from Nottingham University. He has also represented Oxfordshire at five different sports.
