Online services company Investis has acquired Saltmine, a Web agency for businesses.
Investis designs, builds, hosts and manages corporate and investor Websites, Webcasting and online annual reports for quoted companies. It will create a new division called Investis Saltmine.
Moore & Blatch, led by commercial partner Peter Jeffery, was legal adviser to Investis. The team included four assistants who provided specialist IT and employment advice. Jeffery said: “As with many of the best transactions this deal needed to be concluded quickly and in accordance with the agreed timetable. Given our experience with IT companies and backed up by our employment department we were able to pull this deal off on time and to budget.”
