Investis began life true to its name, designing, building and hosting the part of corporate websites devoted to investor relations, which allows changing data, such as share prices, to be updated automatically. However, this accounted for only a third of sales in 2003.
According to founder Justin Walters, customers are increasingly preferring to outsource their entire corporate website needs to Investis.
The company's leading clients include Prudential and National Express, and sales have grown 67% a year from £1.2m in 2001 to £3.2m in 2003
