Sofius Capital, formerly RVC, is the former venture capital arm of Reuters plc. Originally known as The Greenhouse Fund, the Fund made its first investment in 1994 in Yahoo and has since invested £444 million in 82 companies and has achieved 17 IPOs and over 30 trade sales. In September 2001, Sofius became independent from Reuters and the fund is now wholly owned by its Investment Partners and Chairman.
