Sofius Capital, formerly RVC, is the former venture capital arm of Reuters plc. The Fund made its first investment in 1994 in Yahoo and has since invested £444 million in 82 companies and has achieved 18 IPOs and over 40 trade sales. In September 2001, Sofius became independent from Reuters and the fund is now wholly owned by its Investment Partners and Chairman.

Lynx Capital Ventures LP (Lynx) was established in 2000 as a €36 m venture capital fund and now holds five investments in businesses serving large and high growth markets which are being driven by long term digital momentum. Since September 2008, Azini 1 – a fund managed by Azini Capital Partners LLP (“Azini Capital”) – has owned 84.6% of the limited partnership interests in Lynx. Azini Capital specialises in acquiring portfolios of private and public technology companies where liquidity is otherwise difficult to achieve. It works with the portfolio’s existing board and management teams to help develop and grow their companies, often by providing additional capital, and when appropriate seeks exits.
