Edge of town is an important feature of modern retail offering free and easy access by car.
Our new stores are trading ahead of target and Like for Like growth remains well ahead of that on the High Street. For example, those stores now into their second year are showing over 30% growth.
The long-term results are also good, with stores in their fourth year showing annual sales increases of over 10%.
The Edge of Town market is still an area of opportunity as our share of this growing market is low. We now have 96 EOT stores with more due to open in the run up to Christmas.
