Our stores have been under invested. Over the Summer, we made changes to our 50 largest stores, with improved beauty halls, perfume displays, faster pharmacies and more space for gift, baby and digital photo. Three important large stores - High St Kensington in London, Edinburgh and Cardiff are receiving extensive face-lifts to improve our representation in these major shopping areas.
In addition, a further 250 stores have also seen many of these improvements.
This level of work, caused some disruption to trading in August and September, but the work is now complete.
