In healthcare our prescription collection service has grown and highlights the added value we can offer.
The new pharmacy contract will encourage pharmacies to offer more healthcare services. Our use of Jonny Wilkinson to promote cholesterol tests and the response it generated, 188,000 tests in the first eight weeks, has demonstrated the customer appetite for High Street healthcare and the willingness to consult a pharmacist on health issues. This is something we plan to exploit further by creating small consultation areas in our stores.
It also reinforces our role as expert healthcare providers.
