Sales growth relates to local currency
Nurofen sales were up 8.1% with particularly strong growth in Australia and New Zealand from expansion of distribution through non-pharmacy retailers and in Russia and central Europe.
Clearasil sales were up 6.0% driven by the Ultra and Mens products and expansion in Italy, Asia and Latin America.
Strepsils sales grew 9.3%. Successful advertising led to growth across Europe and Asia.
Dermo-cosmetics sales were down 6.6% due to lower sales of E45 in the UK and of Lutsine in France.
Other brand sales were up 5.8%.
