Lifetime Achievement Award in Ischemic Heart Disease, including Interventional Cardiology

Mission

The Arrigo Recordati International Prize for Scientific Research was established in the year 2000 in memory of the Italian entrepreneur Arrigo Recordati and aims to promote scientific research in the field of cardiovascular diseases.

The award is presented every two years to a scientist who has demonstrated dedication to the advancement of scientific knowledge in cardiology.

The Prize 2007
The fourth edition of the International Prize in 2007 will be awarded to a clinical or basic science investigator who, through his work, has achieved distinction in the field of Ischemic Heart Disease, including Interventional Cardiology.

The Prize will award 100.000 Euros to the winner.

Scientists of all nationalities who work in an institutional setting and are not affiliated with a pharmaceutical company are eligible.

The winner of the Prize will be announced during a gala ceremony scheduled for September 2007 in Vienna during the European Society of Cardiology 2007 Congress.
